NUBRIKON FP-4
   HEAVY DUTY OIL BASED ALUMINUM FORGING LUBRICANT

Nubrikon FP-4 is a high performance graphite forging lubricant that utilizes a very low viscosity aliphatic hydrocarbon to improve the product’s atomization characteristics.  Nubrikon FP-4 is scientifically designed to forge aluminum alloys. Nubrikon FP-4 is designed to coat extremely hot dies by incorporating a proprietary blend of additives that actually polymerize on contact with the die's hot surface.  This new spontaneously polymerized coating provides an unprecedented level of metal movement and die wear protection even when the die's temperature approaches 900° Fahrenheit.

Nubrikon FP-4 can be applied by spraying, dipping or swabbing. Optimum results are obtained with spray application. Nubrikon FP-4 is supplied ready-to-use and is subject to soft settling of the graphite. The graphite can be redispersed very easily and should be gently mixed before and during its use to assure that the product is homogenous.  Therefore, it is recommended that the drums, totes, or holding tanks be equipped with air or electric mixers so that the product can be gently agitated.
