NUBRIKON FP-3
   HEAVY DUTY OIL-BASED ALUMINUM FORGING LUBRICANT

Nubrikon FP-3 is a high performance oil-based graphitic forging lubricant. Nubrikon FP-3 is scientifically designed to forge aluminum alloys.  Nubrikon FP-3 utilizes a revolutionary extreme-pressure additive package that provides excellent metal flow dynamics by reducing part to die friction.  The resulting reduction in friction substantially increases the workable life of the die tooling.  Nubrikon FP-3 is scientifically designed to coat extremely hot dies by incorporating a proprietary blend of additives that actually polymerize on contact with the die's hot surface.  This new spontaneously polymerized coating provides an unprecedented level of metal movement and die wear protection even when the die's temperature approaches 825° Fahrenheit.

Nubrikon FP-3 can be applied by spraying or swabbing. Optimum results are obtained with spray application. Nubrikon FP-3 is supplied ready-to-use and is subject to soft settling of the graphite. The product should be mixed using a mixer for 30 minutes before its use to assure that the product is homogenous. This product requires constant agitation during its use to assure that the product remains homogenous.  Therefore, it is recommended that the drums, totes, or holding tanks be equipped with air or electric mixers so that the product can be continuously agitated.
