NUBRIKON FP-2
  HEAVY DUTY OIL-BASED STEEL HAMMER FORGING LUBRICANT

Nubrikon FP-2 is a heavier duty version of Nubrikon FP-2.  This lubricant is a graphitic steel forging lubricant that is designed to be used in steel hammer and mechanical forging environments.  PetroForge 1079 is scientifically designed to forge carbon steels and all specialty steel alloys including stainless alloys. Nubrikon FP-2 is designed to be swabbed onto the dies but can also be dipped or spray applied.

Nubrikon FP-2 is a very high viscosity oil based forging lubricant that is designed to be swab or dip applied but it can be spray applied using special spray equipment. Nubrikon FP-2 is supplied ready-to-use and is subject to soft settling of the graphite. The graphite can be redispersed very easily and should be gently mixed before its use to assure that the product is homogenous. This product will require some agitation during its use.  The graphite will remain suspended for eight to ten hours.  Very mild sporadic agitation will maintain product’s homogeneous character.  Therefore, it is recommended that the drums, totes, or holding tanks be equipped with air or electric mixers so that the product can be periodically gently agitated.
