NUBRIKON FH-3
   HEAVY-DUTY GRAPHITIC WATER-BASED FORGING LUBRICANT

Nubrikon FH-3 is a concentrated graphite water-based forging lubricant designed specifically to forge or extrude difficult ferrous alloy and some non-ferrous metals.  Nubrikon FH-3 provides superior metal movement even for severe extrusions or complex dies. Outstanding die life is accomplished by incorporating a unique blend of “metal-movers” and extreme pressure additives that produces an even, highly lubricious coating that can be sprayed onto dies at temperatures up to 750° F.  This unique lubricant also contains some oil to help improve die life significantly.

Nubrikon FH-3 can be applied by spraying or swabbing. Optimum results are obtained by using either an air or air-less atomized spray system. Nubrikon FH-3 is supplied as a concentrate and is designed to be diluted with water.  Gently mix the concentrate before use to assure that it is homogenous.  A good starting dilution ratio would normally be 1 part lube to 15 parts water.  Add the water to the concentrate while mixing.  Mix for 10 minutes after all of the water has been added.  This assures that the mixture is homogeneous.  It is important to note that much higher dilution ratios are normally obtained depending on the complexity and severity of the forging.
