NUBRIKON FH-2
 ULTRA FORGING LUBRICANT

Nubrikon FH-2 is a water-based graphitic forging lubricant. Nubrikon FH-2 has been specifically designed to forge difficult ferrous and ferrous alloy forgings. Nubrikon FH-2 provides outstanding die life and an unprecedented level of metal movement by incorporating a unique blend of extreme pressure additives that produces a highly lubricious coating.  The proprietary blend of coating enhancers and binders allows Nubrikon FH-2 to coat very hot dies; as hot as 925° Fahrenheit.

Nubrikon FH-2 can be applied to the dies by either spraying or swabbing. Superior die coatings are obtained by applying the lubricant with either an air atomizing or high-pressure air-less atomizing spray system.

Nubrikon FH-2 is supplied as a heavy-duty concentrate and is designed to be diluted with water. A good starting dilution ratio would normally be 1 part lube to 10 parts water.  The best method to dilute Nubrikon FH-2 is to add the water to the concentrate while mixing.  Mix for an additional 10 minutes after all of the water has been added.  The additional mixing assures that the diluted lubricant mixture is homogeneous. It is important to note that much higher dilution ratios are commonly obtained depending on the complexity and severity of the forging. This product is stable in the concentrated form; however, upon dilution the product should be gently agitated during its use.
