NUBRIKON BD
DECARBURIZATION COATING

Nubrikon BD is a water dispersion of selected high temperature glass forming compounds and binders. It is applied by spraying, brushing, or dipping, then allowing to air dry. The resultant coating prevents decarburization and oxidation of the coated metal.

Prior to firing, Nubrikon BD has a high green strength to resist chipping and spalling of the dried coating during handling. It is contains no lead or graphite, and is not flammable, Nubrikon BD is formulated to provide decarburization protection on coated steel in the 2000° - 2400°F (1090° - 1316°C) temperature range.
