NUBRIKON AE
HI-TEMP LIQUID GRAPHITE COAT

Nubrikon AE is a graphite compound originally developed for aerospace applications. It is a suspension of finely divided graphite crystals with special stabilizing and protective additives, in a water-soluble base. As shipped, it is a liquid with the consistency of a latex house paint.

It may be brushed, sprayed rolled or dipped onto any surface without running or sagging. The vehicle dries by evaporation, leaving a smooth, high-density close-knit layer of graphite with a low coefficient of friction. It has high electrical and thermal conductivity. It may be added to, and mixed with, a large variety of resins, solvents, pigments, etc.    

The graphite coating contains no metallic additives or impurities. It is greaseless, oilless, and will not stain or hold dirt. The dried coating will not crack nor melt and run at any temperature, is tasteless, odorless and non-corrosive. It many be buffed to a “mirror” finish. When no longer needed, it may be removed with cold water.

Nubrikon AE has good resistance to animal and vegetable oils, greases, and petroleum hydrocarbons. The dried coating will not support the growth of microorganisms, and does not require a preservative.
