WATER-BASED RELEASE AGENT & SINTERING TRAY COATING

Nubrikon AB is a water-based sintering tray coating that incorporates graphite and a proprietary blend of wetting agents and binders that help facilitate clean and easy release of the part from the tray.  The coating this product produces is extremely even and smooth due to the incorporation of special leveling agents.  Special preparatory additives help to prevent carbon and cobalt migration.  All of the components of Nubrikon AB will not contaminate the sintering oven’s environment during heating.

Nubrikon AB can be applied to the trays by spraying, swabbing, or other application methods. The most even and uniform coatings are usually obtained by spray application.  

Nubrikon AB is supplied as a ready-to-use coating.  However, if dilution is required this product may be diluted using normal tap water. The best method to dilute Nubrikon AB is to add the water to the concentrate while mixing.  Mix for an additional 10 minutes after all of the water has been added.  The additional mixing assures that the diluted lubricant mixture is homogeneous. It is important to note that much higher dilution ratios are commonly obtained depending on the severity of the application. This product should be mixed vigorously enough to generate a small vortex in the product for 30 minutes before use.  If the product is diluted then constant agitation is required during use assure that the lubricant remains homogenous.
